§ 3.07. Election of mayor pro tempore.

  • When from any cause both the mayor and the vice-mayor are absent from a meeting or are unable to preside, a mayor pro tempore shall be elected by the city council to preside during the absence or disability of the mayor and vice-mayor. The city attorney shall preside over any such meeting until a mayor pro tempore shall have been elected, which shall be the first order of business at any such meeting.
